The College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences Scholars Scholarship Program provides up to $10,000 per academic year (up to $5,000 per semester) to help defray student expenses.
Sponsored by the United States Department of Agriculture through the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) a $500,000 grant will provide scholarships to fund tuition, housing and living expenses for selected students annually. Each annual award is contingent upon the student’s continued successful academic performance.
To be eligible, students must be accepted for admission to pg电子下载 State University; be classified as a U.S. citizen; possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale), and a 20 or better ACT score (or equivalent SAT score). He or she must also demonstrate leadership ability and a commitment to community service, as well as aspire to one of the following courses of study: Agricultural Science (any concentration), AgriBusiness Management, Agricultural Economics, Food, Nutrition, and Community Health Sciences, Human Development and Family Science and Applied Science (Geospatial Engineering Technology only).
